Undoubtedly, a scarf from Louis Vuitton really fits the bill, as it quickly elevates any outfit. Each scarf I own is a work of art that I can easily drape around my neck. When I wear one of my silk scarves, I instantly feel like my outfit is complete. I also absolutely adore the look of a striking silk scarf peeking out from under a beautiful leather jacket.

A silk scarf obviously feels different than a cozy cashmere stole. Nevertheless, it oozes glamour, but at the same time offers that warm snuggly feel. The feel of a quality silk scarf draping across your neckline is like a soft second skin… a really lavish second skin! It offers just the right amount of warmth yet does not feel hot at all. More importantly, silk just makes you feel sexy.
Longevity
You have to be careful here folks. As beautiful as my Louis Vuitton Informalle scarf is, it really is prone to snags. I have to make sure I do not rub it against my earrings, necklace, or any zippers when I use this scarf. On the plus side, once I get it in place, it is pretty much carefree until I need to take it off.
Care
A little care goes a long way with preserving the beauty of a silk Louis Vuitton scarf. The label has “dry clean only” and some adhere to this… I do not. I wash my scarves in my washing machine by using the hand wash cycle (no spin) and The Laundress New York Delicate Wash. In addition, I make sure to use a quality laundry bag to keep my delicates super secure. By doing so, I am able to wash all my silk scarves at home and get them nice and clean! With this combination, I have not had any problems with fading or damage of any sort. The best part is I do not have to risk having them lost at the cleaners.

I have bought several scarves through Louis Vuitton, but I have also purchased some through luxury resale websites like The RealReal. Right now, Louis Vuitton has the Monogram Confidential Square that costs $485.00, and is absolutely beautiful. Conversely, you can find some scarves at The RealReal in perfect condition for a fraction of the price. Considering how much I love scarves, resales sites are a favorite of mine.

Conclusion
I love wearing a high end luxury scarf as it makes my outfit look perfect and provides me with just the right amount of warmth. I do not regret purchasing any of my scarves at all as they are truly pieces of art. In addition, you can find some really cost effective options that offer you a sampling of a particular fashion house. Burberry scarves seem to hold up incredibly well, but they just did not fill the void that my Louis Vuitton silk scarf did. What can I say, Louis Vuitton’s silk is something else entirely – pure bliss. If you are looking for a beautiful luxury accessory, I recommend a scarf from Louis Vuitton!
